BTC Erasmus project
The “Breaking the Ceiling” (BTC) project is an Erasmus+ initiative focused on reducing gender inequality in the workplace by empowering women with essential social and emotional skills. Running from November 2022 to October 2024, the project’s main goal is to address the “glass ceiling” that restricts women’s career advancement due to entrenched gender roles and stereotypes. This is a cooperation with Europass Berlin (Germany), who is the project manager, VAEV (Austria) Skill Up Srl (Italy) E-SCHOOL Educational Group (Greece) Step by step (Iceland) and INDEPCIE (Spain)
The BTC project involves developing resources such as a self-evaluation tool, a comprehensive training system, a digital resource bank, and a best practices guide. These resources are designed to enhance women’s soft skills, such as communication, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving abilities.
